TLDR: Graded cards can be sent directly to Cardtopia for tokenization from other marketplaces and grading services. Cards from reputable marketplaces are accepted provided our brief process is followed.

Cardtopia is currently accepting graded trading card assets that are shipped directly from online marketplaces and grading companies. Should you wish to tokenize an asset from another online marketplace or grading company, you may send it directly to our Brink's vault for tokenization. Upon receipt, our vault team will handle, scan, and tokenize your asset, and the corresponding connected collectible will be minted straight into your wallet.

How Does It Work?

Please review the below prior to shipping anything directly to the vault.

  1. When checking out on your preferred website, simply provide the following shipping address:

  1. Notify Cardtopia of Your Shipment: Once you have shipped your item(s) to the vault, please complete this form with some basic details about your shipment. It is crucial to provide your account email, the contents of your shipment, and the shipment ID/tracking number, so our vault team can correctly associate the products with your Cardtopia account.

  2. Minting Process: Our team will contact you within two business days following the submission of the form above to confirm the registration of your shipment. Upon receipt of your shipment by our vault team, you will be sent an email confirmation. A final email will be dispatched once the item has been minted into your wallet.

Important Notes:

If an item is received without a corresponding form submission, we will retain the asset in our vault without minting it. It is crucial to submit your information via the form when sending an asset.

Cardtopia does not oversee the shipping of assets to our vault, so we cannot assist with shipping issues en route to our vault; all shipping inquiries should be directed to the seller. We do not insure packages from other vendors and are not responsible for any damages or losses incurred during shipping to the vault.

The turnaround time for minting items once received at our vault can vary due to security measures, with new asset scanning occurring only twice a week. The timing of receipt—just before or after a scanning session—can affect the speed of the minting process. We will inform you when your items are expected to be minted.

Sending an ungraded trading card or an unsupported asset type may result in your being charged for return shipping. In such cases, we will issue an invoice through our payment processor, Square.

At present, only US residents are eligible for a 1% revenue share on tokenized cards.
